Per utilizzare il benchmark, seguire le seguenti istruzioni:
This patch contains the following MiniGL driver
files
1. opengl32.dll (version 1.1.0.5)
2. metal.dll (version 1.0.0.6)
This patch also includes a 20MB S3TC Texture demo map for
Quake2, mon2.dm2.
To turn on Texture compression please set the following
registry keys:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\S3\S3GL]
1) TextureCache = 0 (DWORD)
2) S3TCDiskCache = 1 (DWORD)
Warning
-------
Please DO NOT copy the opengl32.dll into \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
Copy this file into the required game direcory only (eg:- C:\Quake2).
You can also rename this Opengl32.dll to "SavageGL.dll" and invoke
in Quake engine based games using the following command line
"+gl_driver SavageGL.dll"
Known Issues
------------
1. Only tested on glQuake & Quake2.
2. May run other quake/quake2 engine based games too (Halflife,
Heretic II etc)
3. Tested on 440 BX chipsets and Via MVP3.
